CEE PCB Expands into the "Low-Altitude Economy" to Fuel Emerging Industries
21 AUG, 2024

The "Low-Altitude Economy" is an economic model rooted in low-altitude airspace and driven by the general aviation industry. It spans a broad spectrum of sectors and applications, from low-altitude flights and aviation tourism to research and education. The range of products in this field is extensive, including drones, helicopters, and more. As a strategic emerging industry, the low-altitude economy has a long and influential value chain, with applications across healthcare, meteorology, agriculture, and beyond.

Staying ahead of industry trends, CEE is leveraging its strong R&D capabilities and innovative mindset to produce rigid printed circuit boards (MLB & HDI), flexible printed citcuits (FPC), and rigid-flex boards (R-F), which are already being integrated into emerging markets like the low-altitude economy.

CEE & Drone Innovation

Drones, or UAVs, are powered aircraft that operate without onboard pilots, capable of autonomous, automatic, or remote-controlled flight, and can be used repeatedly. Thanks to their exceptional performance, drones can hover at extremely low or high altitudes for extended periods, offering broader operational space and range.

CEE has made significant progress in the drone sector, supplying top-tier clients with high-performance drone control boards, HD cameras, and other critical components.

Control Assemblies

In terms of control assemblies, CEE in Huizhou has designed an 8-layer rigid-flex board featuring a multilayer flexible stack structure, high-TG flexible and rigid material lamination, and a large design size of 300mm x 320mm with an ENIG surface finish. The product meets high-reliability standards, such as interlayer and hole-to-hole CAF resistance. This product has already been delivered to clients and is now in stable mass production.

Camera Modules

For cameras, CEE Topsun has developed a 2-layer flexible board with an FR-4 and steel plate reinforcement structure and a nickel-palladium-gold surface finish, with impedance control within the board. These products offer precise control and clear, stable image transmission, providing robust support for the efficient operation of drones. With years of deep expertise in this field, CEE Topsun now consistently delivers these products to clients.

CEE & Flying Cars

Flying cars, which can drive on the ground and fly in the air, combine the functions of automobiles and aircraft, offering a more flexible and efficient mode of transportation. They're seen as the next big trend following autonomous vehicles.

CEE is continuously ramping up its R&D investment, aiming to provide efficient, stable energy control solutions for flying cars produced by leading smart electric vehicle companies.

Energy Control Units

Our energy control units feature an 8-layer through-hole design with an ENIG surface finish, meeting the highest reliability requirements. Throughout production, CEE strictly follows automotive board management systems to ensure top-tier product quality and customer satisfaction. The product is now in stable mass production.

With strong policy support and significant capital inflows, the low-altitude economy is poised for rapid growth in the coming years. CEE PCB will continue to heavily invest in R&D, delivering top-quality products to drive technological innovation and contribute to the thriving low-altitude economy!
